Liger will be released on August 25. The star duo is busy promoting the movie ahead of its release. A song titled 'Afaat' of the movie has been released recently. The makers have come under criticism for this.

Basically, netizens are criticizing the lyrics of the song. Additional dialogues have been added in some places of this song. Where it is said - 'Chor do Mujhe'. Netizens did not like this dialogue between songs.

One person wrote, 'This song should be the opening song of every movie.' Another Arpita wrote, 'I am worried about the young generation. Because they grow up listening to this kind of music. I have doubts about how much such songs can play a positive role in our society.

One named Asma wrote, 'I am speechless. Bollywood is consistently disappointing us. Women are being presented as commodities in every song.' Dia writes, 'Afaat song uses dialogues from rape scenes from old movies. Is it for aesthetics?

Puri Jagannath has directed the sports-action genre 'Liger' and written the screenplay. The movie has been shot in Telugu as well as Hindi. Apart from that, the makers have planned to release the movie dubbed in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
