Akshay's movie shoot: Injured crew member falls 100 feet

Akshay Kumar's next movie is 'Vedat Marathe Veer Dudel Saat'. A crew member was seriously injured after falling from a height of 100 feet on the shooting set of this movie.

For the past few days, director Mahesh Manjerekar has been shooting for the film 'Bedat Marathe Veer Dudel Saat' with Akshay Kumar at Panhala Fort in Maharashtra. The accident took place on Saturday (March 18) around 9 pm. Basically, a crew member named Nagesh Khobare lost his balance and fell 100 feet from the top of the fort.

Nagesh was standing on top of the fort talking on the phone. After finishing speaking, he was going down the north side of the fort, when he lost his balance and fell down. Meanwhile, others saw him fall. Two others went down holding the rope to lift him up. Nagesh was later rescued and taken to a local hospital. He suffered severe head and chest injuries. His physical condition is critical. Currently under treatment in a private hospital in Kolhapur.

The local police visited the spot after receiving the information about the accident. However, the police or Mahesh Manjerekar did not give any official statement on this matter.

The movie is being made on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the ruler of Marathi Empire. Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Shivaji Maharaj. Horses have been kept on the sets for shooting purposes. Originally, the injured Nagesh was in charge of looking after these horses.

According to a report in Times of India, Nagesh is working in the cinematography department of the film.
