Several movie stars are against it. One of them is Zayed Khan.
He commented, "Instead of releasing Hindi movies in the cinema halls of the country, make movies like "Pathan". Instead of bringing it to the country's market, make a movie like "Pathan" with me or us. Zayed Khan told reporters before attending the National Film Awards 2021 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Thursday.

If Hindi movies are released in the country's market, the industry will be like Nepal, Zayed Khan said, "A film with a budget of one crore taka will never be able to compete with one hundred crore." If we have to compete with Hollywood-Bollywood, then the film costs and production standards have to increase. Then we will be able to compete with other films in the world.
Zayed Khan thinks that Hindi films made at the cost of hundreds of crores of rupees will destroy the country's market if they come to Bangladesh. He made it clear that he will not allow the destruction of the cinema industry.
