According to sources, the actor-director was going to meet someone close to him in Gurugram on Thursday morning. While going there, he suddenly felt sick in the car. It is believed that actor-director Satish Kaushik suffered a heart attack at that time. He was immediately rushed to a major hospital in Gurugram but did not survive. Doctors declared him dead after taking him to the hospital. After that, around 5:16, Anupam Kher announced the death of his long-time friend Satish Kaushik through a tweet.
Anupam Kher wrote on Twitter, He knows that death is the only truth in this world. But he never dreamed that he would have to write such a thing about his dear friend. Their friendship of 45 years suddenly fell apart. He also admitted that his life would not be the same without the actor-director. He ended his speech by praying for the peace of his soul.
