Chandrayaan-3 Pictures: Indian space research organization ISRO is almost ready for its new mission to the moon. ISRO is going to launch Chandrayaan-3 mission in July itself. It is known that Chandrayaan-3 will pass towards the moon in the middle of July.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) recently released new images of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. ISRO is currently working on the integration of the mission's lander with the spacecraft. Chandrayaan-3 mission will be launched by ISRO's geosynchronous launch vehicle Mark-III, India's heaviest rocket to reach the moon.

Chandrayaan-3 is India's second attempt to land on the moon's surface. Chandrayaan-3 will launch on the moon with lander, rover configuration. The lander will carry the rover inside it as it descends on the moon's surface. Chandrayaan-3 is expected to be launched in the second week of July. Like Chandrayaan-2, Chandrayaan-3 is launching with a new suite of instruments with the same mission objective.

Chandrayaan-3 consists of an indigenous lander module (LM), a propulsion module (PM) and a rover aimed at developing and demonstrating new technologies required for interplanetary missions. ISRO chief S Somnath said they would try to launch the mission between July 12 and July 19 when orbital maneuverability would ensure minimum fuel consumption and high efficiency in the journey to the moon.

ISRO said the lander will have the ability to soft land on a specific lunar surface and deploy a rover that will send data on in-situ chemical analysis of the lunar surface during its maneuvers.
