Transfer WhatsApp chats easily with QR code

Recently the CEO of Meta company Mark Zuckerberg announced about a feature to transfer WhatsApp chats to a new phone which will bring all the chats from the old phone to the new phone using only QR code.
However, to transfer WhatsApp chats, both devices must be on the same operating system and on the same Wi-Fi network. Then open WhatsApp on the old phone and tap on the three dot menu on the top right side and select settings.
After tapping on the chat option in the settings, selecting the chat transfer and clicking on the start button, the old phone QR code scanner will be activated. Now open the same WhatsApp account on the new phone and click on the continue button in the transfer chat history from old phone option, you will see the QR code scan option. Now by scanning the QR code on the old phone, WhatsApp chat transfer will start from the old phone to the new phone. But care should be taken that WhatsApp is running on both phones during this chat transfer.Â
