Varun's 'bawal' on Hitler and World War II debate

The trailer of Varun Dhawan's upcoming film 'Bawal' has been released. It has been highly praised as soon as the trailer was released. However, controversy is also peeking in between the praises. Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan's 'Baawal' created quite a controversy due to its reference to World War II and Hitler's plot.

There is a lot of discussion about the issue on social media. Finally, the director opened up about the plot of the movie.

Director Nitesh Tiwari says, 'While creating a character, you can go back in time and see the events that happened, which can play an important role in that character. It's not just about Hitler.

There's a lot more, which you might not have seen in the trailer. Each event is chosen very carefully, which can affect the overall story.'

The director also elaborates on how and why, choosing a few examples from World War II and why he had to include Hitler in it. He said, “World War II is huge.

There's a lot going on and you can't take it all in. You have to pick and choose things that will likely affect the characters journey. Hitler may have been a part of it. That's why World War II was chosen as a backdrop for the movie."

Bawal starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Dangal fame director Ritesh Tiwari is directing. The movie will be released in OTT. Bawal will be streaming on Amazon Prime on July 21. It also starred Manoj Pahwa, Partha Siddhpura, Anjuman Saxena and others.
