The Holy Prophet (PBUH) in establishing peace, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in establishing world peace, the ideal of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in establishing world peace

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) established peace. Suggestion 24

Everyone wants peace. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to earth with the message of peace. He was the hero of establishing peace in the world. If Mahanvi did not come, the history of the world would have been terrible. A dark world engulfed us. The darkness of ignorance and chaos would have thickened and the world would have been covered in brutality. The biggest proof of this is that the more the world moves away from the Prophetic age, the more turbulent it becomes. Despite climbing the ultimate peak of materialistic progress, the world is slowly becoming uninhabitable for humans. Brutality is creeping into human societies. Good people are slowly losing the will to live.

One and a half thousand years ago, the world was worse than this. There was no light anywhere. The real truth had disappeared from the world. From individuals to families, societies, states, the shadow of unrest descended everywhere.

Our great Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) spread the hope of peace in that troubled world. That is why Allah said - 'I have sent you as a mercy for the worlds.' (Surah Ambia: 107).

Peace efforts in pre-prophetic life

The anarchy of the dark Arab society of that time made Nabiji sad from childhood. The insecurity of people's lives and property, the severe blow to their honor made Nabiji restless. So in his teenage years he formed a social association called Hillful Fujul with like-minded people. Through this, he has contributed in many ways to the establishment of social peace and order, including the provision of security for outsiders' lives and property, safeguarding the honor and dignity of mothers and sisters, standing by the side of indebted and helpless people.

Makki strives for peace in life

The world at that time was ideologically in total disarray. There was no exemplary ideology in the world then. As a result ideal man did not exist then. Therefore, Allah Almighty gave prophethood to Muhammad (PBUH) with the direction of emancipation of humanity. Al-Qur'an, the greatest life philosophy of all time, bestowed upon the human race a superpower. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the bearer of that noble ideal and focused on the formation of the individual first. Because, the foundation of a peaceful ideal society and state is ideal people. Peace in society is never possible without ideal people. Therefore, during the 13 years of Makki's life, Nabiji (PBUH) devoted most of his attention to the formation of individuals and families. First of all, he brought people out of human slavery and accustomed them to obedience to one God. Eliminates differences between people. He removed various superstitions and injustices of Jahili society from people's minds and sowed the noble ideals of Islam. In this way, gradually he created a group of ideal people to transform the dark world into a newly enlightened world, with whom he subsequently built an ideal state. It is clear from the speech of Jafar bin Abu Taleb (ra) that he dedicated himself to the fundamental work of establishing world peace during his life in Makkah. The account he presented to the Abyssinian ruler Najashi of Nabiji's Da'wati activities was a remarkable account of Nabiji's reform work. Some parts of his speech were-

'O king, we were fools. I used to worship idols. I used to eat dead animals. I indulged in obscenity. I used to break the relation of kinship. I behaved badly with my neighbor. Our strong used to oppress the weak. In this situation, Allah sent a Messenger to us. We were aware of his pedigree, honesty, integrity and high character. He invited us to believe in one God and worship Him. Let us leave the idols and stones that we and our fathers worshipped. He commanded us, 'That we speak the truth, protect deposits, maintain kinship ties, treat our neighbors well, refrain from bloodshed and severing kinship ties. He forbade us, from obscenity, from lying, from eating dead animals, from slandering chaste women.' (Musnad Ahmad : 1740). We can understand from the above description that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came to the turbulent world and built the foundation of the world of peace.

Peace efforts in Medina and the Medina Charter

There is no alternative to establishing an ideal state to establish complete peace in the world. So he laid the foundations of an ideal Islamic state in Medina. And the first step in the establishment of this state was to ensure the security of life and honor of the citizens of the state. So he signed a peace treaty with all the tribes and religions of Madinah, which is known in history as Madinah-Sanad. It was the first written and effective constitution in the history of the world. This was the first and unique instance of state peacemaking. How the new Madinah-centric state will be governed is detailed in 53 articles in this constitution. The war between the two historical clans of Madinah, the Aws and the Khazraj, was ended by the hands of the Prophet (PBUH). The end of this age-long war was a historical breakthrough and a unique example of establishing peace in Arabia at that time.

Peace Treaty of Hudaybiyah

The historic Treaty of Hudaybiyah shines as a unique example of a peace agreement in the history of the world. The 10-year cease-fire agreement signed by Nabiji with the Quraysh was a kind of impossibility in Arab society at that time. Because the clauses of this agreement are outwardly so bad for MuslimsIt was humiliating, none of the Companions wanted to agree to this deal. Even Omar (RA) said at one point, 'O Messenger of Allah, are we not on the truth? And are not our enemies lying? So why should we tolerate this insult in the matter of religion?' (Bokhari: 2731). But later everyone accepted this agreement as the order of Allah and His Messenger. Almighty Allah called this agreement a clear victory. Allah says, "Surely I have given you a clear victory." (Surah Fatah: 1). In the Treaty of Hudaybiyah, the Arab tribal pride, the natural anger of man, and the desire of the human mind were set aside for the command of Allah alone. That Islam does not want to establish bloodshed and prestige in any way, but only to establish the truth and to establish peace in the society by clinging to the truth, is fully revealed in the Treaty of Hudaybiya.

The conquest of Mecca and the bloodless war

The conquest of Mecca was a unique example of supreme sacrifice for peace in the history of the world. The people of Makkah who brutally oppressed the Nabiji and Companions for 13 years without interruption, engaged in war after war to subdue Islam for 8 years even after the migration to Madinah. When the Nabiji's authority was established over those who sought to destroy Islam with the highest power of life, the historic declaration that he made was only possible for 'Rahmatulllil Alamein'. He declared, 'I have no anger against you today. You are all free.' But these are the people who killed his uncle, killed hundreds of companions dear to his life. What can be a greater example of peace?

But in this case it should be remembered that Nabiji never compromised with lies while establishing peace. Accepting lies or compromising injustices in the name of peace cannot be peace efforts at all, rather it opens the door to more unrest. If we read Nabiji's biography deeply, we will understand this truth clearly. Nabiji was like a strong mountain in establishing truth. He never gave concessions to anyone on ideological questions. He set the precedent of maximum concessions in matters of personal interest. Establishing truth can basically establish peace in the world. Compromise with lies and injustice can never bring the message of peace in the society.

Nabiji's eternal message in establishing peace

Over the centuries, countless words of Nabiji have been showing the world the way to peace. The parables and words left behind by Nabiji have ended thousands of conflicts throughout the ages. He said, there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, no superiority of a non-Arab over an Arab, no superiority of a white over a black. (Musnad Ahmad: 23489). Thus he ended all tribal and ethnic conflicts in the world. Nabiji was the highest figure to follow in establishing family peace. He said, 'The best of you is the one who is good to his family (Tirmidhi: 3895).

Even in the field of social peace and order, his immutable words are working as our beacon every moment. He said, "A true Muslim is the person from whose hands and mouth other Muslims are safe." (Bokhari: 10). He also said, 'He who eats to his satisfaction while his neighbor does not eat, cannot be a believer. (Al Mustadarak: 2166). The Prophet (PBUH) has set a unique example of establishing truth and peace with his life. His life and numerous sayings will show people the right way to establish peace till the Day of Judgment.
